Jigs & Reels is a progressive programme of Scottish country dances for teachers of children and young people. This publication includes a book of lesson plans, designed to meet the needs of the Curriculum for Excellence, a CD of the music and a DVD illustrating each dance. It can be used by teachers with little experience of dance and is supported by a RSCDS CPD course.

- What products are available in the RSCDS Shop?

The RSCDS Shop offers CDs, clothing, accessories, and other items for Scottish country dance enthusiasts, including only products published or recorded by the RSCDS, as well as officially branded RSCDS merchandise, available both online and in our physical shop. In addition to shopping for goods, you can use the shop to pay for examinations, membership fees (both Affiliation and HQ membership), make donations, or purchase tickets for specific events.
- What is the RSCDS CD on Demand service?

The CD on Demand service allows you to purchase music titles printed and delivered on demand by The Digital Publishing Center. Member and branch discounts do not apply.
- What is the RSCDS Limited Edition Teemill collection?

This collection includes ethically and sustainably produced clothing and accessories made from organic cotton in the UK, with a portion of sales supporting the RSCDS. Discounts do not apply.
- Do I need to log in to shop online?

Yes, logging in ensures any applicable member discounts are applied automatically. First-time users may need to log out and back in to refresh the database.
- How do I use a voucher code?

Voucher codes can be entered in the “Apply Coupon” box in your basket or at checkout, and your total will update immediately.
- Will my basket be saved if I leave the website?

Yes, your basket is saved automatically, so you can return later to complete your order. Orders are not processed until checkout is completed.
- What payment methods do you accept?

We accept most credit and debit cards (except American Express), cheques, and bank transfers. Payment can also be made in person or by phone.
- Is it safe to pay online?

Yes, all online transactions are securely processed using 3D Secure, and we do not store credit card information on-site.
- How will I receive an electronic publication?

Download links are sent to your registered email and are also available in your account after payment. Please contact us if you do not receive your link within 24 hours. Make sure to save a copy of the eBook, as the download link is only available for seven days before it expires.
- How long will my order take to arrive?

Orders are typically dispatched within three to twelve working days. Delivery times vary by location.
- What about shipping to Europe or the USA?

European orders usually arrive in five to ten working days and may incur import VAT or customs duties. U.S. orders arrive in seven to fourteen working days and may also be subject to import taxes. Other international orders take ten to twenty-one working days.
- What are the current postage rates to Europe and the USA?

For Europe, shipping currently costs approximately £8.50 for standard delivery, and orders usually arrive within five to ten working days. For the USA, standard shipping costs around £12.50, with delivery typically taking seven to fourteen working days. Please note that these rates are for guidance only and may vary depending on weight and local postal charges.
Important U.S. Shipping Update
All parcels to the U.S. are now subject to customs duties and taxes, regardless of order value. Books: generally duty-free (when classified under Chapter 49 HTS). CDs & mixed orders: may attract duties based on contents and shipping value.
Delays may occur at U.S. Customs. - How are shipping costs calculated?

Shipping costs are based on Royal Mail rates, parcel weight, and a small packing and handling fee to cover eco-friendly packaging. The RSCDS does not profit from postage.
- What is your returns policy?

Returns are accepted within fourteen days of delivery if you have proof of purchase and items are in their original condition. Contact the RSCDS office to arrange a return.
